BUYER'S INCENTIVES

- the RRSP no-tax consequence withdrawal of $25,000.
- the first-time home buyers non-refundable INCOME TAX CREDIT (on one's yearly income tax, in the year of purchase, providing up to $750 in income tax relief.
- the ONTARIO LAND TRANSFER TAX savings of up to $2,000 for persons who have never owned real property anywhere in the world.
- Until January 2010, the HOMEOWNER TAX CREDIT (HRTC) for 15% of renovation expense between $1,000 and $10,000 for kitchen, bath or basement renos or for new flooring, furnace, water heater, deck, fence or retaining wall or for driveway resurfacing, new sod or painting (inside or out),
- the ecoENERGY RETROFIT GRANT of up to $5,000 to offset the cost of making energy efficiency improvements.
